THE POLISH NUMBER '9' IS ON FORM FOR CHAMPIONS SHOWDOWN

Robert Lewandowski is the big threat to Real Madrid's Champion League aspirations. The Pole has hit a rich streak of form having scored in each of his last twelve matches in the Bundesliga, a feat he has repeated in half of the Champions League games he has disputed.
And Lewandowski is probably in his last hours as a Borussia Dortmund player as a move to Guardiola's Bayern seems more likely every day. He is now the fourth top scorer in Europe, with only three of the game’s top players ahead of him: Messi, Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic.
The Argentine has 56 goals in all competitions, the Portuguese 50 and the Swede 37, while Lewandowski has hit 33 goals this term, averaging 0,8 goals per game.
Levy, as they call him in the dressing room, hopes to increase his tally against Real Madrid. "It would be incredible to score a goal against them, I hope I can get one or two, that would be marvellous", the Pole admitted, before forecasting two much harder matches than the ones the teams disputed in the group stage: "We know that Real Madrid is a strong side, but we are prepared to take on that strength they have and we have our chances".
