THE FORMER REAL LAD NOW PLAYING AT BAYER LEVERKUSEN

Only 70 km away from Dortmund, in Düsseldorf, Real Madrid is counting on its best spy - none other than Daniel Carvajal, the youngster that helped lay the first stone of the Ciudad Deportiva de Valdebebas alongside Di Stéfano. The lad now finds himself in the ranks of Bayer Leverkusen, and is probably the best right back in the Bundesliga.
Dani eats, breathes and sleeps football. He's one of those players that understand the game like few others, which means he's ideally placed to give an overview of Borussia Dortmund with the big match less than one week away.
Carvajal wastes no time in getting stuck into Borussia. He knows Klopp's team like the back of his hand and thinks Madrid faces a tough opponent, although he thinks Real are favourites: "I think Real Madrid have the edge, mostly because of the experienced players it has. Both teams play in a similar way. They move the ball quickly and try to get into the opposition's area with just a few touches."
Carvajal is in no doubt about where Borussia Dortmund's strengths lie: "In set pieces, with Reus crossing the ball and Hummels or Subotic getting on the end of it, but their strength is the switch from defence to attack, it's lethal. Real Madrid must be careful not to lose the ball in midfield because their front four are very dangerous. Borussia struggles if it doesn't keep possession."
