Speaking at the end of the clash with Mainz 05, Jürgen Klopp brushed off the comments made by José Mourinho on Friday. "So Mourinho says I talk a lot? That's what one of my teachers used to say. I'll shut up, then", he quipped.
The Borussia Dortmund coach refused to dwell on his Real Madrid counterpart's remarks in the lead-up to his side's fixture wtih Betis, when Mourinho had claimed that Klopp had talked to the media "every day" since the Champions League draw was made, while he himself hadn't "said a word".
The German was delighted with his side's win over Mainz 05, calling it "a perfect performance". "We had a great 25-minute spell after opening the scoring", he added.
