HE THINKS REAL IS STRONGER NOW THAN DURING GROUP STAGE

Ángel Di María assured that the Real Madrid side is in better shape than when it came up against Borussia Dortmund in the group stage of the Champions League. At that point the team managed by José Mourinho lost 2-1 in Germany and somehow managed to snatch a draw at the Santiago Bernabéu.
"When we were playing the earlier games we weren't in such good form as we are now. At the start of the season things weren't going well for us, but we're doing much better now and our defence is much tighter. We have extra confidence which is allowing us to play very well", Di María said in an interview with Bwin, his club's sponsor.
After stating that Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, the competition's top scorer, "is playing some of his best football, and he's playing at a very high level", the Argentine went on to say that winning the 'Decima', "would be a dream come true", but that to get there the team needs to "take it one step at a time".
Di María believes it's important to score a goal in Dortmund, and that Borussia is a "very similar team" to Real Madrid, which is "very good on the counter-attack".
"We know that because we've already experienced it. They are playing great and we'll need to perform to the peak of our abilities to get through the tie", he said.
