SEVILLA'S PRESIDENT TALKS ABOUT REAL MADRID'S INTEREST IN KONDOGBIA

José María del Nido wanted to make it very clear during a lunch at Seville's annual fair that his club will have the final say on Kondogbia: "I love it when they talk about my players, but we aren't going to say a word about transfers until the end of the season because we still have a chance of qualifying for Europe. If an offer in excess of €6m comes in for him, Sevilla would have to pay 50% of that offer or sell him".
In other words, if a club offers €6m or more, but without offering the player's full €20m buy-out clause, Sevilla would have to pay Doyen half the amount offered to fully own him.
In saying that, the Sevilla president played down the rumours that the French under-19 international's father may have already met with Florentino Pérez "because Sevilla owns 100% of the player's rights".
Strangely though, Kondogbia, who ended the morning's training session early with some discomfort, was late for the team’s lunch at the Seville fair, thus avoiding the press.
