Real Madrid's German midfielder, Sami Khedira remembered the great European comebacks that Real Madrid has pulled off in the past and assured that his team will try and "add another magical night to the list", this time against Borussia Dortmund, and reach the Champions League final.
"Real Madrid has already enjoyed its fair share of magical nights at the Bernabéu, especially in the European Cup", said Khedira in an interview given to Bwin.
He also recalled that the fans' support will be essential to reach the final. "They have to back us to the hilt, 100% from the start, fully convinced, as they always are. I’m not at all worried in that aspect", he said.
"During games like this one, the support from the stands is even more important and could be the deciding factor. I'm convinced that our fans will carry us through this match", he added.
Khedira stated that it will be "important" to score early, but made it clear that Real Madrid must not "lose its head" and needs to find "a balance" and avoid rushing into anything.
