CR7 HAS MISSED OUT ON CHAMPIONS GLORY SINCE 2008

Cristiano Ronaldo has come so close in the last two seasons to taking part in the Champions League final, and it is five years now since he won the title that all the top players aspire to.
This Wednesday he will start his third successive semi-final with Real Madrid against Borussia Dortmund and the goal for all Madrid players is to not fall at this hurdle for the third year running. However for the Portuguese star this tie has become a self-imposed ultimatum in which he must succeed.
With his demands and ambition close to reaching indescribable heights, Ronaldo has made it clear to his team-mates that they can’t let this new opportunity pass them by.
As top scorer in the European competition with 11 strikes, Ronaldo is in tip top condition to help his side progress. With great preparation in his own training routine and mental work, everything is now focussed on performing in the final month of competition in which the titles are decided.
Five years without the title will have taught Ronaldo about his own individual errors and those of his team, to mature as a player and become the key piece in a side that has handed him the leading role. He now believes he can give his best on the pitch and the moment has finally arrived to prove it.
